Prayer to the Merciful Mother
എത്രയും ദയയുള്ള മാതാവേ, നിൻറെ സങ്കേതത്തിൽ ഓടിവന്ന് നിൻറെ സഹായം തേടി നിൻറെ മാദ്ധ്യസ്ഥ്യം അപേക്ഷിച്ചവരിൽ ഒരുവനെയെങ്കിലും നീ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതായി കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നു നീ ഓർക്കണമേ; കന്യകകളുടെ രാജ്ഞിയായ കന്യകേ, ദയയുള്ള മാതാവേ, ഈ വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു നിൻറെ തൃപ്പാദത്തിങ്കൽ ഞാനണയുന്നു. വിലപിച്ച് കണ്ണുനീർ ചിന്തി പാപിയായ ഞാൻ നിൻറെ ദയാധിക്യത്തെ കാത്തു കൊണ്ട് നിൻറെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നു. അവതരിച്ച വചനത്തിൻ മാതാവേ, എൻറെ അപേക്ഷ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാതെ ദയാപൂർവ്വം കേട്ടരുളണമേ. ആമ്മേൻ.

കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവേ, സകല വിശുദ്ധരോടൊത്ത് ഞങ്ങളങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു. സത്യവിശ്വാസം സംരക്ഷിക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി ഉന്നത സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങളും, ലൗകിക സുഖങ്ങളും, സ്വജീവനും സന്തോഷപൂര്വ്വം ത്യജിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കഠോരമായ പീഡകള് സഹിച്ച് രക്തസാക്ഷിയായിതീര്ന്ന വി. സെബസ്ത്യാനോസിനെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളും അനുദിനജീവിതത്തില് വിശ്വാസത്തിനെതിരെ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന എല്ലാവിധ പ്രലോഭനങ്ങളെയും, ഭീഷണികളെയും ചെറുത്തുകൊണ്ട് സത്യവിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ധീരസാക്ഷികളാകുവാന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ.
